BMW Steels Ltd. has been manufacturing wear resistant bends for
Concrete
Boom Trucks and
Concrete Pump for a long time. Y-Connections/
Bends are produced to suit the customer's individual requirements.
There are two parameters :-
- Material of the Elbows
- The required dimensions for elbow production i.e. diameter, wall
thickness, radius and angle.

Because BMW Steels Ltd's Alumina Ceramic
Linings used on the internal surfaces they are the ideal solution to
wear problems in Concrete Boom Trucks.
Highly abrasive and corrosive concrete slurry pose serious problems to Pipes,
Bends and Y-Connections. BMW Steels Ltd.'s casted and Ceramic coated
bends protect against abrasion,erosion and corrosion.
Parts coated as well as casted include Pipe runs and bends &
Y-Connections
30°, 45°, 60° & 90°
Short radius bends flanged and coupling ends are also fitted with a
replaceable bolted wear back.

Inventories include a wide range of parts:
Short, Standard and Long Radius (Up through 72" CLR)
Nominal standard tangents are 2 times diameter with a 6" minimum for
easy connection.
Wall Thickness: ranging from 12 mm to 30 mm.
Materials: Alloy Cast Iron, Ni-Hard , Alumina Ceramic Linings
Degree of Bends: 90, 60, 45, 30
Center Line Radius: 5" through 72"
